Mid-Century Solid Wood Floating Desk

A single plank of grain-rich wood appears to hover against a pale wall, a laptop and a cup resting on top. That is the whole idea behind the Mid-Century Solid Wood Floating Desk. It gives you a real desk while leaving the floor free and the room open.

The Look

Clean lines, warm color and the natural figure of the wood do the talking. Every board is different, so the grain pattern on your desk will not repeat anywhere else. It becomes a quiet focal point rather than another bulky piece of furniture.

Built for Daily Use

The slab is premium wood, chosen to stay steady and handsome through daily work. It holds a computer, stacks of papers and the small things that collect around them. Because it mounts to the wall, it slips easily into tight spots.

• Four thicknesses: 1.4", 2", 2.76" and 3.5", with 2" pictured
• Space-saving: a wall-hung design with nothing on the floor
• Ready to mount: all required hardware is included
• Flexible placement: home office, living room, bedroom, dorm or nursery

Assembly is straightforward, and the desk is handmade with care. Because it is crafted to order from natural wood, expect small shifts in color, grain and texture, and remember that monitors render wood tones in slightly different ways.
