Round Wall Art With Carved Sun And Waves For Bedroom

Solid wood, carved in the round. The Round Wall Art With Carved Sun And Waves For Bedroom sets a rising sun above rolling water. The result is calm, bright and balanced.

Composition

The circle is full and even. Rays fan out from the sun. Waves curl beneath it in bold relief. Straight lines meet soft curves, and the depth of the carving shifts with the light.

Material

Solid wood blocks are joined, then carved as one image. The piece travels in sections and is put back together on arrival. A light finish keeps the grain warm and the texture rustic.

• Shape: a perfect circle for a soft, centered look
• Motif: sunbeams over layered waves
• Relief: deep carving that changes with daylight
• Placement: above a bed, in a living room, entry, hallway, hotel or open plan

Placement

Center it above a headboard for a restful focal point. It also holds its own on a living room wall or at the end of a hall.

Each piece is handcrafted to order. Natural wood brings small differences in grain, texture and color. No two are the same.
